Post-Sale Handover

After “sold” comes the hard part — we run the checklist

The Malaysian ownership transfer — loan settlement, Puspakom, JPJ pindah milik, road tax, geran — as an automated 8-step checklist seeded the moment a deal is won.

The old way

With ShiftOS

What it does

Auto-seeded checklist

Win a deal and the 8-step handover appears — no setup, idempotent, identical no matter who closed it.

The Malaysian sequence

Loan settlement, buyer insurance, Puspakom B5 & B7, JPJ pindah milik, road tax, geran, then handover.

An owner for every step

Each step shows who's responsible — you, a runner, the dealer or the customer — and its live status.

Costs in your P&L

Puspakom, JPJ and other official fees sum into the unit's handover cost and reduce its gross.

Customer records & packages

Every won deal becomes a customer with car, plate, price and contact — ready for prepaid service packages.

Expiry reminders

Road tax and insurance expiring in 30 / 7 days, and overdue handover steps, trigger reminders automatically.

The 8-step Malaysian handover

Seeded automatically when a deal is won — official fees are the standard rates and editable.

  1. Loan settlement — Clear the previous owner's hire-purchase so the car can transfer.
  2. Buyer insurance — New owner's policy in place before transfer.
  3. Puspakom B5 — Ownership-transfer inspection at Puspakom.
  4. Puspakom B7 — Hire-purchase inspection — auto-marked N/A on cash deals.
  5. JPJ pindah milik — Ownership transfer at JPJ — biometric for both parties, buyer within 7 days.
  6. Road tax — Renewed under the new owner.
  7. Geran collection — Collect the new registration card (geran).
  8. Handover — Keys and documents handed to the buyer — deal complete.
